Museum in Washington, DC Closed Today - April 16

Due to a power outage, the National Air and Space Museum in Washington, DC, is CLOSED today. All entry passes for today have been voided.

The Steven F. Udvar-Hazy Center in Chantilly, Virginia, is open. Reservations are not required and bus parking is free. All other Smithsonian museums are also open.

At this time we do expect to be open Thursday and we will update you as any new developments arise. We apologize for this inconvenience.
